Experience:

Ronan is an Associate at the company and has worked as a structural engineer with T.J. O’Connor & Associates since 2005. Prior to that he worked as a structural engineer in Scotland and Australia. Between 1998 and 2000 Ronan worked with T.J. O’Connor & Associates as an Engineering Technician.

Ronan has gained extensive experience in a wide variety of structural and civil engineering projects including residential, commercial, office and industrial developments, hospitals, schools, the repair of exsiting buildings as well as main drainage, road and flood defence schemes.

His responsibilities have varied from preparing planning, tender, contract and construction documents to the day-to-day management and site monitoring of these projects, which include Sligo and Letterkenny University Hospitals, Davitt Road Ambulance Base, Stanhope Street Primary School, Nos. 40-41 O’Connell Street, the conservation and repair of No. 42 O’Connell Street and Munster Blackwater River Fermoy South Drainage Scheme, Cork Lower Harbour Main Drainage Project and Ringsend Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Project.
